Who I am Now!
Hello! I’m Sao Sovanna. I’m 18 years old. I will start my first year at University soon. I want to become a software engineer.
Better Than Yesterday
I have lived in LA since 2017. I noticed how well I can communicate in English. From the beginning of the first year, I joined LA, I couldn’t even speak a word of English, but I am confident enough to have a talk with anyone in English now. With the support from LA, I open up myself to the new world. I have made more friends, and I have contributed some of my time and knowledge for the sake of younger generations.
Why FinTech?
I am very thankful to LA for inspiring me to become who I am today. I took the scholarship exam and was awarded 50% scholarship by ACLEDA Institute of Business. Since I love technology and see how amazing it is to solve the world’s issues, I decided to become one of them, a software engineer. I am so excited to explore my major more, FinTech. Although I was told that FinTech is for Financing only, I think it is more than that because I will learn programing and coding, too.
Big Dream for the Community
After I graduate, I will develop a software or app to ease their financing. Because I know in this technology age, everyone is busy with their work, and they always want an easy way to make their payment, I will help them with it, so they can save both time and money.
