In Dalen’s Own Words

Who I am Now!

My name is Dalen Phon. I’m 18-year-old. I’m from Kompot province in Cambodia. My parents they are farmers. I’ve just passed my high school exam. Right now, I’m preparing for the entrance exam in Medical School. I want to become a doctor.

Better Than Yesterday

I have learned English and computer. I can write, speak and understand English better than before and I also know how to use computer as well. Furthermore, I had tutorial class with good teacher. also, I had joined public speaking and workshop, which helps me create more network and gain new knowledge and experiences from them. since I joined LA, I become a better person that I used to. I like to show and share all my ideas with everyone when we have meeting. I can work with everyone, and I enjoy teamwork as well. I also become responsible for what I’m doing and become a punctual person too.

Why Medical School?

I’m so nervous and excited as I’m preparing for the entrance exam in Medical School. When I become a doctor, I will help people especially, my parents. I can take care of them by myself.

Big Dream for the Community

I wish to become a doctor in the public hospital so that I can help those who cannot afford their medication. Also, I want to supply the medicine to the hospital in need.
