Why should you create a Donor Assisted Fund?

Donor-advised funds are the fastest-growing charitable giving vehicle in the United States because they are one of the easiest and most tax-advantageous ways to give to charity.

If you plan on giving to charity over many years, setting up a DAF is the easiest, most flexible, and tax-efficient way to donate cash, stocks, mutual funds, cryptocurrency (!) and even private company stock to be eligible for an immediate tax deduction.

One perfect scenario for setting up a DAF: if you know that you are in a higher tax bracket now than you will be in the future (e.g., when you retire), using a DAF, you can aside all those gifts now you plan to give going forward and lower your tax burden.
